Find Allies

Marketing professionals say that when you ask people to do something you have to make it sound easy. We're not going to do that. No Tankers is stepping it up a notch with a new tool to protect our coast. Is it harder? Yes. It's also more effective.

Here's the situation: We've got Alberta pushing, the federal government pushing, some of the most powerful oil companies in the the world pushing to bring oil supertankers to our coast. We can out-work them. We can hold them back and keep our water clean, but that's going to take size and it's going to take diversity. Above all else, it's going to take focus.

That's where you come in.

If you want to be really effective in stopping these oil pipeline and supertanker projects, and we mean really really effective, we have something for you. This isn't going to be easy. But it will work. There are three options, three journeys you can undertake. We've just finished distilling the first of these options in our "Find Allies" kit, which involves simple actions, but taken to scale where you live.

It'll take about 30 hours and you'll need to be comfortable talking to new people and have a basic understanding of e-mail and social media.
Fill out the form if you're prepared to do this for our rivers, coast and communities. Filling out the form does not obligate you to do anything, it just lets us know that you're interested!

Contact Information
You'll be putting some work into this, and we need to have good contact information for you.
Postal code is important because it helps us figure out which electoral areas you are in, key information to maximize your effectiveness.
We're going to give you a call because it's more fun than always emailing.
