Tar Sands Pipeline Delayed
Enbridge's proposed 'Gateway' tar sands pipeline to BC's north coast has been successfully delayed six times. By preventing the construction of this pipeline we can prevent the expansion of the tar sands, which is Canada's single largest source of greenhouse gases, while preventing significant new emissions from tar sands tankers and pipeline operations. But the threat remains! Enbridge is currently conducting consultations and is clearing brush along the pipeline route.
