Campaigning for Intact Forests
Intact ecosystems, such as BC's forest ecosystems, are the best scrubbers of greenhouse gas pollution from the atmosphere. Yet BC's forests continue to suffer from centralized mismanagement that favors large corporations at the expense of our forests and our forest-affected communities. If forests were locally managed, there would be stronger impetus to sustain these ecosystems over the long-term, thereby maximizing their value as sinks of greenhouse gas pollution.
