Dogwood was founded to aggressively address the issue of 'who controls the land' in British Columbia. At this time, the provincial government and large corporations control most of the land in BC - with individual communities and First Nations left with little control over their futures. This is unjust.
Dogwood is working tirelessly to assist communities and First Nations in gaining control over their local resources. At the same time, we recognize that climate change is the single biggest threat our planet, and our province, faces.
